Brothers and sisters graced with the Cross of Jesus Christ, joyously drawn together by the Good News into a ministry of seeking, sharing, caring, and serving.
We are evangelical, which means “Good News.”
We center our worship, proclamation, and
community life and service on the Good News
of Jesus Christ. Because God created us in love,
rescued us through the cross of Jesus,
and gives us the Spirit of peace,
we are free to love, to give, and to serve.
We are a Christian community.
We embrace and celebrate the traditions of the
Church across the ages, composed of many
languages, cultures, and nations. While we are
Lutheran, we claim the rich diversity of the universal
Church. Our celebration of the Word of God and
the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion
in worship and song unites us with the larger
gathering of all people whose faith centers in Jesus Christ.
We are reforming.
We believe that God has saved us once and for all through
the cross. We know we are not perfect. We renew our
faith and press on to live our lives in conformity with
God’s will and kingdom. We look for new ways
to share the Good News of Jesus’ love.
All are welcome.
Jesus embraced all people with open arms just as
they were. So we place no barriers for entry into
our fellowship. We all stand together at the foot of
the cross, knowing that each person is a unique child
of God, both saint and sinner, with something to offer.
