Martin Luther said, “Next to theology, I give to music the highest praise.” There is a place for just about everyone in our music ministry! Find your place in any of the groups below:
For ages 4 (or 3, if mature) through second grade. This group meets almost every Sunday during Children's Church (during the Pastor’s sermon) at the second worship service, and sings for worship around six times per year.
For grades 3 through 6. Rehearses most Wednesdays in the Music Room, 6:30 - 7:15 PM. Sings for worship almost monthly; carols for homebound members in December; presents a Biblically based musical play in May.
For adults and teens. Rehearses most Wednesdays, 7:30-9:00 PM in the Music Room; sings for worship almost every week; carols for hospital and/or shut-ins in December; sometimes presents major works (though not every year).
For adults and teens. Rehearses on average once per month in the sanctuary; plays for worship primarily on major holy days and occasionally for other events.
Handbells for adults and teens. Rehearses at 6:30 PM most Sundays in the sanctuary; plays for worship about every 6 weeks.
A small group of singers at the 8:15 AM worship service. They rehearse in the sanctuary for 15 minutes after the service on the two Sundays preceding their presentation in worship. The Ensemble sings approx. six times per year, usually 2-part music.
Plays for worship usually twice a year, with two rehearsals prior. Open to adults and teens who play orchestral or band instruments.
